On October 15th, 2020 Nevada stopped reporting Total tests (in specimens) and began reporting Total tests (in test encounters). We carried over the last available value, but the metric has not returned, so the value is out of date and potentially confusing. We will be keeping the time series as provided by the state, but removing the carried over values from October 15, 2020, forward.

On November 19th, 2020, we removed a timeseries of recoveries in Nevada. This timeseries represented staff and resident recoveries in licensed facilities. These recoveries are a small subset of the recoveries in the state, and the state does not provide an overall number of recoveries.

On October 29, 2020, Nevada’s Total PCR Tests (PCR) increased by a smaller amount than the increase in Cases. Because Negative test results are calculated by subtracting Positive PCR tests (people) from Total PCR tests (people), Negative test results decreased on October 29, 2020.

On 10/16, NV changed their dashboard. They removed their source for Total Tests (PCR) and Negative (People or Cases) and began to report Testing Encounters (PCR). We did not capture the new Testing Encounters on shift. We carried over our Total Tests (PCR) and Negative (People or Cases). We still captured Total PCR Tests (People), but this resulted in a ~500 unit decrease. We are now using a new time stamp to reflect data "as of" the current day -- [current day 0:00]

A digit was missed while inputting Total PCR Tests (People) on 8/15, resulting in underreporting. This issue is complicated by the fact that we do not have a screenshot or reliably historical source for Total PCR Tests (People), normally found on p.3 of the dashboard. Since we do not have a reliable source from which to backfill this value, we are carrying over the testing value from 8/14 (538202).

Reconciled our historical positive cases (PCR) and total tests (PCR) with state data. No major changes, just corrects some transposed digits on a few days and also extends back history of positive cases (PCR) from 4/29 to 3/5 and total tests (PCR) from 4/29 to 3/22. Also updated our Positives column since it is the same as positive cases (PCR).
