Notes

Puerto Rico reports long-term care COVID-19 data for Long Term Care facilities. Puerto Rico reports cumulative but not outbreak data. COVID Tracking Project puts Long Term Care facilities in the Lumped or Other facilities category. Puerto Rico does not provide facility-level data. Puerto Rico reports resident and staff cases as combined, and resident deaths separately. Puerto Rico does not report staff deaths. Data is cumulative since August 15, 2020.   Puerto Rico provides cumulative totals for resident and staff cases combined and resident deaths and number of facilities with a case.    The number of staff and resident cases in this dataset represent PCR tests reported by the Puerto Rico Department of Health from August 13th and August 20th-September 12th, 2020. In the August report, Puerto Rico also reported antibody tests from April - September. Of those antibody tests, which CTP does not currently include in our dataset, there were 349 resident positive antibody tests and 163 staff antibody tests. Puerto Rico does not report resident or staff deaths and does not list facilities by name or by type. Puerto Rico does not provide facility-level data. Puerto Rico did not report any new cases or deaths between January 7 and March 4, 2021, when CTP stopped collecting long-term-care data.
