On 10/22, PA reported issues with a “faulty data file” and said that “some” of the cases they reported that day should in fact have been reported in yesterday’s count. We reached out to ask for further context, as today’s new case count is very high for PA. A DOH spox responded and said that they do not know exactly how many cases they’re talking about here, though it’s “likely a hundred to a few hundred."

PA doesn't report Total Tests, so we have to add positive + negative, and the negative units are unclear. So we moved the Total Tests metric to "Total Tests (PCR)" from "Total PCR Tests (People)." Additionally, we are backfilling the Total Tests (PCR) metric from 3/11-5/17 using the positive case values plus the negative case values we had already recorded.
