Minnesota reports long-term care data for Long-Term Care Facilities, which consists of Skilled Nursing Facility and Intermediate Care Facility. Minnesota excludes facilities with 10 or fewer residents from their list of outbreak facilities. May 15, 2020 and May 21, 2020 case counts are from Minnesota Health Department weekly reports. Data is updated daily. Minnesota facility-level data is that name of facilities who have ever experienced an outbreak. June 22, 2020: Minnesota began reporting Long-Term Care facility outbreaks information. Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities that have or currently are experiencing an outbreak release with cumulative facility-level data. This information appears in our dataset on July 2, 2020. This information is released bi-weekly, so staff cases and number of facilities is carried over every other week. October 1, 2020: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from September 17, 2020. October 8, 2020: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from September 17, 2020. October 15, 2020: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from September 17, 2020. October 22, 2020: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from September 17, 2020. January 21, 2021: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from January 7, 2021. January 28, 2021: Cumulative staff cases and number of facilities carried from January 7, 2021.

Minnesota switched their facility number reporting from cumulative to current outbreak on July 10, 2020. It is unclear how many facilities have experienced a COVID-19 outbreak in this state due to this switch.
