On November 9, 2020, Data Entry subtracted an un-updated confirmed number from the Total PCR tests (specimens) number to calculate negatives. Since IL removed this metric on November 6, 2020, we should use the Cases (confirmed and probable) number in the calculation instead. On November 10,2020, we backfilled this mistake.

On October 31, 2020, Illinois did not update their dashboard during our daily publication shift, but they did release their numbers in a (press release)[http://www.dph.illinois.gov/news/public-health-officials-announce-7899-new-confirmed-cases-coronavirus-disease]. We used this alternative source to update Total PCR tests (specimens), Positive PCR tests (people), Cases (confirmed plus probable), Negative PCR tests (people), Deaths (confirmed and probable), and Deaths (confirmed).
