Washington reports long-term care COVID-19 data for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and adult family homes. COVID Tracking Project puts all Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and adult family homes into the Lumped or Other category. WA reports cumulative data but not outbreak data. Data is cumulative since March 5, 2020. Washington does not report facility level data.    Washington reports cumulative cases and deaths associated with outbreaks. Reported cases include residents, employees and visitors. Washington includes cases pending Local Health Jurisdiction confirmation for resident/staff cases. Washington does not report facility-level data.   Washington does not provide current outbreak data, however, they do provide a definition for what opens an outbreak. Washington defines an outbreak as starting with one resident or healthcare worker with confirmed COVID-19, or one resident with severe respiratory infection resulting in hospitalization or death, or two or more residents or healthcare workers with new-onset respiratory symptoms consistent with COVID-19 within 72 hours of each other.
