Notes
Wyoming reports long-term care data for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Residential Hospitals. COVID Tracking Project puts Nursing Home data in the Nursing Home category, Assisted Living Facilities in Assisted Living category, and Residential Hospitals in Lumped or Other category in our dataset. Wyoming reports cumulative and outbreak data. Wyoming only provides facility-level data. Wyoming reports staff and resident cases and staff and resident deaths separately. This data is cumulative since March 13, 2020.
Wyoming cumulative totals are gathered by summing facility-level data for resident and staff cases and deaths of all facilities reported.
Wyoming defines an outbreak as a facility with one case in a 14-day period. An outbreak ends when 14 days have passed with no new confirmed case. Wyoming outbreak data is gathered by summing facility-level data for resident and staff cases and resident and staff deaths of facilities with an open outbreak.
Wyoming reports facility-level data for Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Residential Hospitals.

According to the Wyoming Department of Health, "numbers of deaths listed in this report for each facility should be considered provisional; not every death listed has been confirmed through death certificate review for announcement by WDH or inclusion in the official WDH count of COVID-19 related deaths."

Facility notes
The state provides facility-level cumulative data. The state provides facility-level outbreak data. Cumulative facility-level data was first reported by the state on 2020-08-27. Outbreak facility-level data was first reported by the state on 2020-08-27.
Because each state reports facility-level data differently, CTP has produced a number of scripts to make the dataset as standardized and comprehensive as possible. This state uses the following scripts: special WY scripts, post_processing, standardize_data, collapse_outbreak_rows, close_outbreaks. More information on each of these scripts can be found in our Airtable Facility Script Annotations. (https://airtable.com/shr99Ep06cplrcVg6)
