On July 9, 2020 the Northern Mariana Islands began reporting Total PCR tests (people), and we should have begun using Total PCR tests (people) - Confirmed cases to calculate Negatives. However this didn't become standard until July 23, 2020. Patching the incorrect values in Negative with Total PCR tests (people) - Confirmed cases. This update will cause Negatives to decrease on July 9, 2020 due to the change in calculation.

On 10/10, MP resumed its oscillating values as it had done the previous week. We used the new value from the dashboard, resulting in Total Tests (PCR) dropping from 20709 to 19835. We carried over negatives, as this would have caused negatives to decrease.
