ID released an update to its dashboard that clarified the value we'd been capturing as specimens was people (it was retitled to "Idahoans tested"), and provided a new specimens number starting 10/16. Moving timeseries from specimens to people and backfilled two days of specimen history from when it first showed up.

On 8/4, current hospitalizations decreased by about 100 and current ICU decreased by about 30. We were unable to find an explanation for the decrease.

Variables affected:

There were previous gaps in our reporting of hospitalizedCurr and icuCurr from 7/14-7/20. These gaps have been corrected and filled in with historical data.

Idaho hasn't updated their current hospitalizations or ICU admits since July 18th. The cumulative has been updated though.

On July 22, ID reported 126 total deaths but also reported 103 lab-confirmed deaths and 33 probable deaths. We believe that the correct number of probable deaths is 23 and that 33 was a mistake. We therefore report 126 total deaths in ID for this date. See ID state page screenshots for 7/22.
