We identified a gap in the Total tests (specimens) time series and have patched it by carrying over a value for two days. We also removed the Positive and Negative Tests (PCR) time series as it was short and had many gaps, and there was never a clear definition for those values showing that they were tests as opposed to cases.

On 11/21 we switched our sources for Guam's Total antigen tests (specimens), Total PCR tests (specimens), Negative PCR tests (people) to account for their new reporting schedule and new information gained by outreach. Patching 11/19-11/20 total antigen tests (specimens), Total PCR tests (specimens), Negative PCR tests (people) to match our new process.

Prior to 11/20, we had been capturing Guam's Total PCR tests (people) as {Positive PCR tests (people) + Negative PCR tests (people)}. However due to new information discovered through outreach, we learned that the negative test value we had been using was actually Negative PCR tests (specimens). In order to ensure our data is as accurate as possible, we are removing Guam's Total PCR tests (people) from our time series.

On November 18, 2020, Guam announced that “Beginning next week, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will shift from daily situation reports to weekly reports in order to provide for more comprehensive data analysis. To reflect this, the Joint Information Center (JIC) will report profiles of confirmed cases on a weekly basis only.” As a result, Antigen and Antibody, and PCR (specimen) testing data will only be updated once weekly going forward.

On 9/3, Guam reported that it had shifted to using the more restrictive August 5 definition of probable cases released by the CSTE. From March 12, 2020 to September 2, 2020 Guam reported eight probable cases under the previous probable case definition. On September 3, Guam adopted the new CDC case definition for probable cases. As a result, Guam has no cases that classify as probable cases as of September 3, 2020, and 8 cases have been removed from Guams's total case count.
