Texas: March 18, 2020

On January 27, 2021 we began removing negatives that were created from mixed units (specimens minus cases or test encounters minus cases) for states that are using explicit totals in our main total test results field (called totalTestResults in the API). Texas never reported negatives directly and always reported in specimens, so the total time series was removed.

Adjust the calculated negative metric after updating Total Tests (PCR) metric.

Backfill PCR testing metrics (Total Tests (PCR) and Positive Tests (PCR)) from the data available in the new dashboard published by Texas last week. Previously, our PCR testing series went back only to May-13th and with the new data it starts on March-3rd

On December 11, 2020, Texas reported probable cases for the first time & released a timeseries of probable cases going back to 10/31. We are backfilling the timeseries: Positive, Positive Cases (PCR), Probable Cases, Total Antigen Tests, Total Antibody Tests and Positive Antibody Tests from the information provided on Texas Arcgis layers.
