The state reports cumulative and current outbreak data for cases and deaths.

New Jersey provides cumulative totals for resident and staff cases and resident and staff deaths and number of facilities with a case.

New Jersey provides outbreak data for resident and staff cases. New Jersey defines an outbreak as a facility with 1 case in a 28-day period. An outbreak ends when 28 days have passed with no new confirmed case.

New Jersey reports facility-level data.

Death data include probable and laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The state provides facility-level cumulative data. The state provides facility-level outbreak data. Cumulative facility-level data was first reported by the state on 2020-12-24. Outbreak facility-level data was first reported by the state on 2020-12-24.
