October 16, 2020

Variables affected:

On 10/16, IA's Total Antigen Tests (People) and Negative Antigen Tests (People) both increased by ~20k, with only ~100 unit increase in Positive Antigen Tests (People). This large increase in antigen tests was offset in part by ~13k drop in Total PCR Tests (People) and Negatives. There was no clear explanation.

On 9/26, IA released this note: “During the weekend of Sept. 26-27, a data update will occur to add nearly 27,000 antigen test results from newly required surveillance testing at long-term care facilities. This update will result in an increase in the number of individual test results and the number of antigen tests currently reported on this website.”

This will only effect our antigen numbers as we don’t use the lumped pcr+antigen total
