We are moving our Total antibody tests (specimens) timeseries into Total antibody tests (specimens), and will begin capturing Total antibody tests (specimens) from their data dashboard, and backfill this timeseries through 07/16/20 from the graph on Arizona's dashboard.

On December 28, 2020, Arizona noted that due to the holiday weekend, multiple days of case reviews were completed, resulting in the data for December 28, 2020 being higher than usual. As a result, they reported more Positive PCR tests (people) than Total PCR tests (people), which caused their Negative PCR tests (people), which is calculated as Total PCR tests (people) minus Positive PCR tests (people) to decrease.

Variables affected:

On 9/18, AZ officially changed their policy around reporting positive antigen tests as presumptive cases as per the CSTE definition, resulting in a large increase in probable cases and a slight decrease in confirmed cases, likely from shuffling around case counts.

September 16, 2020

Variables affected:

On 9/16, AZ started combining PCR and antigen testing and reporting as “Diagnostic” tests. We are recording this number for Total Tests (PCR) for now, resulting in a jump of ~16K tests today.

Backfilled probable cases until 6/11 by subtracting confirmed cases from total cases. For 6/12 and 7/17 - 8/4, carried the same probable value because hover feature was broken on those days.

On 8/5, the confirmed/probable hover started working again. We are now recording probable cases, and have resumed recording confirmed cases, and death, as well as switching back to normal calc. for neg. cases

On 7/30 the negativeTestsViral was entered incorrectly, which also impacted the report totalTestResults for that day. This correct the totalTestResults from 903,954 to 913,266

On July 28 and July 29, we noticed that Arizona's Now hospitalized metric decreased slightly while it's Ever hospitalized metric increased significantly. We were unable to find an explanation for the increassa.
